Flimp Festival

Laura had a church activity for ladies only so I took the girls to the Flimp Festival at the Museum of Fine Arts. We had a lot of fun celebrating Italian culture.

Bass Pro Shop

Haley, Allie, and Emily prefer "Bass Pro Shop" to the mall every day of the week. They beg constantly to go to - as they call it - "The Fish Store" all the time.

They especially love the boats and 4-wheelers. They also enjoy Alabama football.

What more could a potential husband ask for?

Haley just passed the online open book test for her boating license. Any volunteers to be pulled on the intertube behind the boat? I was coveting. Allie is content to ride rather than drive.

Seeing the boats brings out the best in everyone.

Allie cranked up the 4-wheeler and then didn't know what to do.

Haley immediately chose the biggest, baddest, and most expensive 4-wheeler in the entire store. When I'm old Haley, please remember that this would make a wonderful "powerchair".

Plastic Surgery

I used to be embarrased about how I looked. Now, after the facelift, I feel much better. Thank you Dr. Whimsinuckleberrywazunkanuflexifoliabahinglejammer.

Allie was attacked by a donut with chocolate icing. Don't worry...I think she got the better of it.

Yard Work

Notice that Haley is not anywhere in these pictures. Either she was not aware that we were working outside or she was avoiding her lesson in hard work and manual labor. She's a good kid so we'll give her the benefit of the doubt.

Allie and I are potting blackberries.

Mowing the yard. Finally! I'm not complaining, we've just been so busy lately. It's nice to finally have it done. A happy helper! I think Allie is always happy to get dirty. More blackberries!

Uncle Ric and Aunt Kat's Cabin

After picking Nana up at the airport last Saturday we drove to Mentone, AL to spend the weekend with Uncle Ric and Aunt Kat. They have a great cabin on Lookout Mountain. Here are some of the pics we took.
