"Puppet Show"

We attended a puppet show at the museum today. It was all about shapes and colors. There were fun songs and the puppets played games with the children. The girls really loved it. Of course we took Emily with us. She was completely enthralled and watched intently. After the show, special tour guides took the children on a "Peek a boo Tour" of the museum and talked about some of the paintings.
Touring the museum with friends.
If you look carefully at the pictures you'll notice that Haley, Allie and Emily all have matching skirts. Even Emily has one!. Sooooooooo cute! We owe this to Grammy!

"Thank You Grammy!"

Grammy made these beautiful matching dresses for Haley, Allie and Emily. Before we left for church this morning they all sat still to take a picture to post on the blog for Grammy to see. If you can believe it, we managed to get dresseed this morning, eat breakfast, happily take this picture and make it to church not only on time, but early. We also owe this to Grammy. The girls were excited to get up this morning and quickly take their showers so they could put on their new dresses. Thank you Grammy!

"The Park"

Emily is always content to hang out and do whatever we're doing, but she doesn't like to be left out. Lately she's learned to blow raspberries, fake cough, and she tries to talk to us. She's pretty funny...really easy-going, but definitely opinionated. Imagine!
These "houses" are the latest exhibit at the museum. They were built by a local artist with the help of 100 local volunteers. It took three weeks to complete the project. Haley, Allie, Emily and I were at the museum one day while they were building. Haley exploring the houses. Allie was not feeling adventurous. She just wanted to feed the ducks and go home for dinner.
We went to feed the ducks at the park this afternoon. We only fed the turtles and fish. We couldn't find the ducks (go figure). It was such a pretty day I couldn't stand to spend it inside and it turned into a nice family outting.

"Super Girl"

This afternoon while we were all taking naps ninjas broke into our house and Haley single-handedly fought them off. That explains the hair.

"Happy Birthday Brent and Allie!"

Today is Brent and Allie's birthday. We had a great time celebrating with Grandma and Papa. Thanks to everyone for the birthday cards and presents!
Allie's blowing out the candles. I decorated the cake myself. Butter cake with chocolate frosting to please Brent and pink flowers per Allie's request.
Allie opened all the birthday cards-even Brent's.
Don't you love the dress? Grammy made it!Allie loves her birthday present from Grandma and Papa. They also gave her a wagon and bubbles.
The ultimate bubble wand.
Haley and Allie are trying out the wagon.
Why is the basketball goal tipped over?
Haley and Allie use it for a balance beam and for a slide. (Atleast it's getting some use.)
Emily stared at Papa all night long.
Happy baby!
Allie doesn't look really enthused to be taking the picture, but it's hard to get everyone to smile at the same time.
Happy Birthday!

Easter Eggs

We decorated Easter eggs today. I know it's a little early, but we never hunt for real eggs on Easter, we always use the plastic eggs and fill them with candy. This way the girls can have princess eggs all week long with their breakfast (Allie only eats hardboiled eggs.) I just thought everyone would want to see. We had lots of fun and made a minimal mess if you can believe that!

Thank you Nana!

Thank you Nana! We got the box this morning. We're in the process of trying on all the other outfits. Emily is still sleeping so we'll try hers on later. We love you!
